After years of teaching students in person at Unica Nail Academy in Scotland, I wanted to make my professional training accessible to more nail technicians, including those who are unable to travel to attend one of my in-person courses.
Unica’s online courses are being created to offer the same detailed, career-focused approach, with professional techniques, clear explanations and a strong focus on understanding the logic behind every step.
You’ll be able to learn at your own pace, revisit each lesson whenever needed and develop your skills from wherever you are.

I have chosen to begin with Russian Pedicure & Gel Polish, a specialised technique that is still difficult to find through comprehensive professional training.
This course will guide you through the correct preparation of the natural toenail using Russian e-file techniques, safe and precise work around the cuticle and lateral folds, and a clean, long-lasting gel polish application.
Rather than simply copying a sequence of steps, you’ll learn the purpose behind each stage of the service, helping you work more safely, confidently and professionally with different clients and nail conditions.
